Easter Bunny lives in the hills of Rarotonga don't you know...

Easter Weekend begins...

Beautiful Easter day in sunny Raro, we spent the afternoon at friends on an Easter Eggs Hunt.  Because the sun is so hot we looked for coconuts hidden around their property with children's names on them; so as not to confuse with any old coconut.  Josh's was a tricky one to find... hehe
The hunt is on!
Pied piper of Easter Eggs!
"I can't find MINE!" (bottom lip quivering)

"Choice!"
Never too old!

Father Bear looks on...

"Now where is that last one...?"
After a hot-cross bun breakfast I asked George if he wanted to go on an egg hunt? Which he declared he did and as the Easter Bunny lives in the hills that is where he wanted to head!... I had to perused him that maybe due to the rain we had early in the morning, maybe Easter Bunny delivered them inside the house.  So with a hymph off they went hand in hand.  George did stop to read a book, he was not to be hurried even if mum was super excited!

"Come on Milly let's go up the mountain..."

"Mum ruins all our fun"

Chocolate FOUND!

"I'm sooo happy to have chocolate!" (hehe)
He is saying cheese as the photo is taken
Much love all and a very Happy Easter to all our friends and family! xoxox

Moved from Lodge to Manor...

From The Lodge...
To The Manor (hall way)

Entrance way

A light bit of fishing as we move...

It's gotta be a big one!

Moving in style

Comfy too!
Only in Raro can you sit on the back of a truck on your couch as we move house!

Much love all! xox

The little things kids say...

So at school at roll time the girls have taken to adding; princess, angel, beautiful queen to the end of my name when they say good morning.  It ends up being something long the lines of this...
 Me; 'Kia Orana Josh*'
Josh*; 'Good morning Mrs Fiebig princess, angel, super hero, beautiful queen'
That is until I was asked if I request the children to call me this...! Hmmm.
The names have gotten longer and longer and I have had to put a stop to it today. So as I am explaining how I want the greeting to be one little boy cherub said, 'So we don't say good morning Mrs Fiebig Satan or we will get in trouble ah?'
Where do these things come from???

Josh* - not a real child in my class

I have a couple of new children starting in class soon and making small talk I asked them when they turn five?  One little Miss answered, 'On my birthday!' Yep that does answer my question!

Also Milly keeps calling me disgusting, all because I ate reindeer pooh on Christmas day... Almost four months ago! (Raisins, although they don't know that)
Row faster George!

Today's thought...

We were sitting at the breakfast island this evening just finishing off dinner and having idle chit chat when Husband looked up...

"Quick move! “He sharply said to me.  I jumped off my seat not knowing why I was moving quickly until looking up and there is a gecko with its poo sticking out and wiggling it's tush.  Eventually dropping it's business where my dinner plate had rested!  It is a common occurrence and one such gecko has it timed to approximately 8.36pm right above where and when I am working on the computer... The joys of living with so many critters!

Just glad cows don't have the ability to hang upside down!
Quick duck!

Littlies playing together...

It is so lovely that the babies are now such good friends, the little conversations and games they play.  It is lovely to listen to! xox

Passin' the time of day eating frozen strawberries...

Two little monkeys!

Just wanted them to smile!
Yes Milly is wearing George's P'J's

Time to chill and read a book

Things I have learnt this week...

Me:  "Good morning George"
George:  "I'm crabby"....
Actually means he IS crabby!

Goats sleep on the road at night!  Almost hit six tonight!

Don't try to put on lip balm from your purse hen driving.... Especially when there are tampons in there too!??

Sometimes annoying people are really annoying!

Much love all xox

What goes around comes around...

Over the holiday period I was in my classroom cleaning and repainting in readiness of the school year.  The class needed a good clean out and so I started on the 31st of January. It was on this day my car was gone through but nothing taken.  The following day I made sure I closed the windows all the way so no sticky hands could get in and unlock it like the day before.  In need of the loo Josh and I looked up my classroom and dashed over to the toilets, we were gone just long enough for a wee.  When we returned I noticed my bag which I happened to have left in the middle of a messy desk, was emptied out and my cellphone gone!

We called the police and they came out to photograph and ask questions.  The bugger that took my phone had left I nice set of prints in the wet paint as he climbed in the window.  Both sides of my class are louvered windows as is very common in most schools here, sadly I did not think of shutting the one side that is not safety guarded.  They shimmied up a post and simply popped out two louvers and in they came.

I just received my phone back last Wednesday after much too-ing and fro-ing with the police.  Anyway it turns out it was a kid that lives across the road from the school and is known for trouble.  Today when I went into school I noticed his house know looks like this...

Goes to show you should not harm others!
