Survival of Superdom...

Mama George and Superdom
Superdom goes Truckin'

"Drivin' along in his automobile, Mama Georgie beside him at the wheel"
Listening to dad play, I think it was... 'Funky Chicken'
Milly is meant to be feeding Superdom...

Some food made it his way before she runs off screaming that he touched her!

CUTE!

GROSS! That was meant to be for Superdom

For Sale...

On Saturday morning I joined in with three other ladies on a 'side of the road' Garage Sale.  The kids have grown out of loads of clothes and it was a great chance to make room in our house and a little cash to boot!
"No Jill, no need for ties we will just hold onto it with our arms out the window !"...
The car was loaded up with clothes and baked goods...  We needed a table so we popped it on the roof to head across the road.
Baked goods
The Family came down to visit and because I had the car... Yep Milly is standing at daddy's feet, George is tied on and Josh looks bloody happy with it all!
Safety First... The family come to visit!

SELL! SELL! SELL!
Not a big profit was made by me, approximately $70.  But a couple of lessons wer learnt; next time I will put the clothes on a table so people don't have to bend down and to start at 7am rather then 8am!  Lots of fun was had!

And one more makes six...

We have just adopted a new member into our family...  After finishing up my shower this morning, I heard a very loud chirping noise.  I found George clutching a baby chicken, as I walked out to help him George took flight.  Running at full trot out onto the backyard, his fists tightening so as his 'prize' did not escape!  As it happened the poor wee thing did try to elude George but, Georges persistence (thumb and fore finger) prevailed.  One could say it was a game of two halves and George won. We now have the baby chicken housed in a box, up high I might add.

"Mama George"

There is no escaping his clutches!

Originally George wanted to name him Twinkle as his friends had a pet chick by that name.  After some discussion he decided he could name it Chicken... Hmmm?  More discussion and he came up with Sprinkle.  So for five hours we call the dear little thing Sprinkle, then dad comes home and the chicken has up and changed its name to SuperDom.  With no idea where the name SuperDom has come from I just hope we can leave it at that as I will begin to have problems remembering his name and will have to revert to calling it Chicken.  There was talk about naming him Colonel, Finger Lick'en Good or Roast Dinner from some of the adults but we wanted a sensible name... Yep SuperDom it is! haha

'Just Eat It!'

"So beautiful and cute", Georgie says...

Josh and SuperDom hang out.
Our goal is to keep it alive now... Noooo George will be heard a lot as we work towards this very goal.

Your money isn't any good here...

I went to the local store last week to buy a couple of loaves of bread, I know I should be baking my own from the wheat that I have ground with my own bare hands but... Any way a loaf of white is $4.70 and whole grain is $5.00 so a total of $9.70, equally $10.30 in change right? WRONG! Here my change was $10.20 and a lollipop as they had run out of ten cent pieces! I am still working out how to fit it into the kids money box!

Then today as I was doing the fortnightly dry goods shop which takes half the island to cover and about six different shops.  I stopped at 'Tex Mart' as they have the best price on nappies and wipes.  I noticed they stocked cases of Heineken and asked the man serving how much they are?... His response was, "Oh, ah... ummmm you wana go grab one I can see".  Politely I declined purchased my nappies and went to the bottle store where the prices are displayed and I don't have to do the cashiers job!

Don't count your chickens till...

I think finally George has learnt why we do not want him climbing in the fridge to help himself...

It doesn't look like much, but egg spreads!

All through the vege bin...

NICE!!!
All husband had to say was "So scrambled eggs for dinner?"

I on the other hand wanted to just sit down with a coffee and a fag...
As I no longer do either that ruled that solution out!
